Yates County sheriff's deputies took a Penn Yan woman into custody Wednesday at the request of the Seneca Falls Police Department, according to a sheriff's office release.
Sallie-Ann Tiaskkun was charged with first-degree harassment in connection with a pending case stemming from an incident in Seneca Falls, the release said.
Deputies met Tiaskkun at her residence at about 4:50 p.m. July 29. They transported her to Geneva and transferred her to Seneca Falls police at an arranged meeting location.
The sheriff's office did not provide additional information about the underlying incident. The charge is an allegation, and Tiaskkun is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
