Wayne County sheriff's deputies charged a Sodus woman with petit larceny Wednesday after she allegedly took two drinks from a town convenience store without paying.
Kayla D. Harris, 36, was arrested at about 7:42 p.m. July 29 following a larceny at Speedy's, 6114 State Route 104, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies alleged Harris took a Powerade sports drink and a BeatBox alcoholic beverage without paying for them.
Harris was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office for processing and released on an appearance ticket.
She is scheduled to appear in Sodus Town Court at a later date. The charge is an allegation, and Harris is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
