A Victor man faces a petit larceny charge after deputies said he pumped gas and left a Palmyra business without paying.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested 66-year-old Thomas Banas on July 29 following an investigation into the alleged theft at 635 East Main Street.
Deputies said Banas pumped gas into his vehicle July 22 and left without paying the clerk or an automated machine.
Banas was processed at the Sheriff's Office and released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Palmyra Village Court at 5 p.m. Aug. 18.
