A Victor home was hit by lightning as storms moved through the Rochester region Tuesday morning, according to News10NBC. The Victor Fire Department said crews responded just before 6 in the morning for the smell of smoke.
Fire officials said the lightning strike caused circuit breakers to trip.
Outlets and switches in the home were also scorched.
The report did not list injuries from the Victor incident.
Most power outages in the broader Rochester region had been restored by the time of the report.
