Eastview Mall’s Starbucks kiosk has moved to a central location near JD Sports and LEGO, a change that drew a mix of curiosity and concern from shoppers about seating and holiday congestion.
The company announced the move in a social media post, saying the new kiosk continues to offer coffee, espresso, tea, breakfast and lunch items, pastries and merchandise.
Customers can also place mobile orders and collect Starbucks rewards stars at the location.
Not everyone was a fan of the move though. Some on social media asked why the kiosk moved and said the new location appeared cramped or lacked seating.
Several also wondered how the central location would interact with the mall’s traditional Santa display and heavier traffic during the holiday shopping season.
Other shoppers suggested the central location could bring more foot traffic through the mall and past additional stores. The mall didn’t add any context to Starbucks’ move.
Eastview Mall is located in Victor and has been in operation for decades.
