Geneva General Hospital staff and the Geneva police and fire departments will conduct an emergency training exercise Wednesday morning on the hospital campus.
The exercise is scheduled from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and people in the area may notice increased vehicle activity and are asked to avoid unnecessary travel near the hospital during that time.
Hospital services will not be interrupted, and officials said the activity is planned and is not a cause for concern.
The exercise is intended to prepare first responders to manage emergencies and improve coordination among emergency service partners.
