A driver was charged with driving while impaired by drugs Friday night after Ontario County sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle carrying two children in the town of Richmond.
Justin J. Reid, 29, was also charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle, according to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office. The children were ages 3 and 9.
Deputies stopped Reid near the intersection of state Route 20A and Quayle Road around 10:19 p.m. July 24. The sheriff's office said standardized field sobriety tests led deputies to determine that Reid was impaired by drugs.
Reid also received traffic tickets for operating a vehicle with a loud exhaust and tinted windows.
He is scheduled to appear in Richmond Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
