Auburn police are asking for the public's help locating La'Meir Holmes, a juvenile reported missing from Cayuga Centers on Franklin Street.
Police said Holmes is believed to have run away to Syracuse, where he is from, but his exact whereabouts were unknown when the department issued its appeal Friday.
Holmes was reported missing from Cayuga Centers at 202 Franklin St. on July 21, according to an Auburn Police Department media release.
Anyone who has seen Holmes or has information about his location is asked to contact Detective Atkins at 315-255-4703 or Auburn police at 315-253-3231. Information may also be emailed to natkins@auburnny.gov.
Police said callers may remain anonymous.
