A Sodus woman was charged with petit larceny after deputies said she concealed a bottle of bourbon in her clothing and left a Clyde liquor store without paying.

Kayla Harris, 36, was arrested July 14 following an investigation into the June 30 theft at Olivia's Wine & Spirits on South Park Street, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said store surveillance footage showed Harris conceal a bottle of Maker's Mark and leave the business without paying for it.

Harris was located in Clyde and taken to the Wayne County Jail for processing. She was released with an appearance ticket for Sodus Town Court at 10 a.m. Aug. 8.
