Ithaca's Jack Barton will continue both football and lacrosse at Utica University, according to Tompkins Weekly. Barton is moving to the college level after playing football for two years and lacrosse for one year at Ithaca High School.
Barton committed to football first and was recruited as a wide receiver and free safety.
He was Ithaca's starting quarterback and had a six-touchdown performance in a home win over Binghamton.
Barton also helped Ithaca win its first Section IV Class A lacrosse title since 2018 with a comeback victory over Corning.
