A Williamson woman was arrested on drug and evidence-tampering charges after laboratory testing confirmed cocaine seized during a 2025 search in Sodus, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said.
The Sheriff’s Office said it executed a search warrant Oct. 10, 2025, at 114 W. Main St. during an investigation into alleged narcotics sales at the property. Deputies said they found suspected crack cocaine concealed in Amanda Steurrys’ clothing after she was taken to the Sheriff’s Office for an interview.
Laboratory testing confirmed the substance was 22.199 grams of crack cocaine, according to the release.
Steurrys was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance based on the weight, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and tampering with physical evidence. She was taken to the Wayne County Jail for centralized arraignment.
