A 31-year-old Lyons man was arrested last week on robbery, assault and other charges stemming from an alleged attack on Spencer Street in June, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies allege Dakota J. Norris, aided by two other people, struck and choked a person, ripped the person’s shirt and forcibly took a phone while the person was trying to call 911 on June 10.
Norris was charged with second-degree robbery, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing, third-degree assault and fourth-degree grand larceny.
He was held pending centralized arraignment.
