A 55-year-old Canandaigua woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle crash Saturday night on Barnes Road in the town of Canandaigua, the Ontario County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies said Tracy M. Sidmore left the roadway on the north shoulder and struck a tree. She sustained minor injuries and was taken into custody at the scene.
Sidmore was issued multiple traffic citations and is scheduled to appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date to answer the charges. The sheriff's office did not specify the citations.
Cheshire Fire and Canandaigua Emergency Medical Services assisted at the scene.
