A Beaver Dams man was arrested after a foot pursuit with deputies in Montour Falls, according to the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office.
Joseph J. McCarty, 39, was charged with obstructing governmental administration following the June 18 incident.
Deputies said McCarty was also wanted on two active arrest warrants. One was issued by the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, while the other was issued by the Elmira Police Department.
McCarty was issued an appearance ticket in Schuyler County and turned over to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.
