The Corner Brew in Dryden has received a New York State Senator Empire Award for its community impact, according to Tompkins Weekly. Owner Kayla Lane opened the coffee shop on West Main Street in March 2023.
The building had previously housed the Dryden Community Cafe, which closed in 2020.
Lane and her family have owned the West Main Street property for more than 25 years. The shop has grown into a gathering place with changing food and drink specials, events and an expanded community role.
