A Sodus man was charged with aggravated DWI after Wayne County deputies said he was stopped while riding a motorcycle without a helmet on Ridge Road.
Duane A. Rush, 53, was arrested July 6 after the traffic stop in the town of Sodus, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said Rush was uncooperative at the scene but was determined to be intoxicated. He was taken to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, where a breath test showed a .24% blood alcohol content, according to the sheriff's office.
Rush was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18% or higher, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, operating a motorcycle without a helmet and operating out of class.
He was processed at the Wayne County Jail and released with an appearance ticket and other traffic tickets.
Rush is scheduled to return to Sodus Town Court at a later date.
