Branchport United Methodist Church will host its 10th Red, White and Blue 5K on July 4, according to WENY-TV. Organizers hope to draw 250 participants for America's 250th anniversary.
The race starts and ends at the church on Guyanoga Road. Day-of registration opens at 7 a.m. and costs $30, with the race beginning at 8 a.m.
The event also includes a children's fun run, raffle baskets and a bake sale. Proceeds support the church's outreach programs, including its Blessing Cupboard.
