Jack Johnson backs Canandaigua lake group

A sold-out CMAC concert will help raise money for Canandaigua Lake protection, according to the Democrat and Chronicle.

Musician Jack Johnson’s All At Once network selected the Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association as a local nonprofit partner ahead of his July 1 show. His Johnson Ohana Foundation donated $500 and gave the group concert tickets to raffle.

The foundation will also match donations made at the concert or directly to the association through Oct. 15, up to $2,500. The nonprofit works on education, research and policy to protect Canandaigua Lake and its watershed.
