Drivers will face months of overnight construction as a $13.8 million overhaul transforms a busy stretch of Route 13, according to The Ithaca Voice.
The state project covers 28 miles from Ithaca to Dryden. Crews will repave the roadway, repair damaged pavement, upgrade traffic signals at key intersections, add rumble strips and install reflective lane markings to improve safety.
The work also includes new ADA-compliant curb ramps at the Route 13 and Triphammer Road intersection. Most construction will happen overnight to reduce traffic delays, with the project scheduled for completion this fall.
