A new ice cream shop has opened in downtown Seneca Falls, bringing a Bedford Falls-themed business to Fall Street across from the It's A Wonderful Life Museum.
The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, June 18, to celebrate the grand opening of It's A Wonderful Scoop at 77 Fall St.
Community members, business representatives, chamber staff and board members, elected officials and others attended the event, according to the chamber. Owners David and Elissa celebrated the opening in front of the shop before it opened to the public that evening.
The business leans into the Bedford Falls theme, with decor focused on retro ice cream shops, bright colors, booths and unique ice cream names. The chamber release said offerings include Zanzibar Chocolate, Exhausted Parent and other flavors.
It's A Wonderful Scoop is open daily from noon to 8 p.m. The shop offers gluten-free cones, scoops of ice cream, swirls, milkshakes, pup cups and floats with a variety of toppings.
