The DIRTcar Sportsman Series will run three regional events this weekend, starting Friday night at Brewerton Speedway in Central Square.

The Canadian races are both scheduled for 50 laps and will pay $1,500 in Canadian currency to win.

Hunter Hollenbeck enters the weekend as the Central Region points leader after winning the season opener at Weedsport Speedway. He has four wins this season, including two at Brewerton, according to the series.

Connor Crane is second in the Central Region standings, four points behind Hollenbeck, while Tony Finch II is six points back in third.

In the North Region, Gavin Eisele and Brennan Moore are tied atop the standings with 292 points. Eisele won at Brockville Ontario Speedway, while Moore won the region opener at Can-Am Speedway.

Shane Pecore, the defending North Region champion, is also among the drivers to watch after winning last year's title at Cornwall. Jacob Nadeau enters the weekend as the points leader at Autodrome Drummond.
