Tom Holland has addressed the ongoing speculation that he and Zendaya secretly got married after her stylist, Law Roach, seemingly let it slip earlier this year.
In a newly published interview with Esquire, Holland was asked about the persistent rumors, which Zendaya had previously playfully addressed during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in March. Holland remarked that when AI-generated photos claiming to be from the couple’s wedding circulated on social media, garnering millions of likes, his grandmother saw the pictures and frantically asked why she wasn’t invited. When asked by the interviewer whether he had to have similar reassuring conversations with other members of his family, he suggested that it wasn’t necessary.
“No, because they were all there,” The Odyssey actor offered.
His candid comment appears to confirm that the wedding had indeed already happened, but the Spider-Man franchise star quickly refused to offer any other information.
“That’s all you’ll get on that,” he said.
Months of Unofficial Hints and AI Confusion
The revelation brings an end to months of intense fan theories. During a red carpet interview at the 2026 Actor Awards earlier this year, Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, casually told reporters that the couple’s wedding “already happened.” While many fans assumed Roach was just joking or deflecting, the speculation exploded when highly realistic AI-generated images of the couple at Lake Como began flooding social media platforms. Zendaya later addressed the deepfakes on late-night television, noting that “many people” in her actual life were duped by the images and left feeling hurt before the truth came out.
Elsewhere in his interview with Esquire, however, Holland did open up more about their relationship, despite declining to offer any additional marriage insights.
“We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else,” he shared with journalist Henry Wong. “I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”
A Relationship Built on Privacy
The couple initially met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming back in 2016, but they only went public with their relationship in 2021 after years of maintaining a close friendship. They were later reported to have purchased a home together in London and officially became engaged in December 2024.
Both stars have frequently spoken about how “sacred” they consider their private lives to be, making a quiet, unannounced wedding completely in character for the Hollywood powerhouse duo. While details regarding the venue, date, and garments remain entirely under wraps, the confirmation marks a massive moment for fans who have followed their journey for a decade.
