A traffic stop in Williamson led to multiple charges against a local man after deputies discovered he was allegedly driving with a suspended license and found drug paraphernalia inside his vehicle.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested Kelvin E. Roberson, 26, of Arrowbend Drive in Williamson on June 18 following an investigation.
According to deputies, Roberson was operating a vehicle while his driving privileges were suspended. During the investigation, authorities reported finding drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
Roberson was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, unlicensed operation, operating an uninspected motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper plates and failure to wear a seat belt.
He was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing before being taken to the Wayne County Jail to await arraignment.
