Clyde man charged after obstructing deputies during investigation

A Clyde man was arrested early Friday after deputies said he interfered with a criminal investigation stemming from a family dispute in the Town of Galen.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of Timothy R. Walker, 38, of Jenkins Road following an investigation into a family trouble call that occurred shortly before 2 a.m.

According to deputies, Walker resisted law enforcement officers during the course of a criminal investigation.

Walker was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration.

He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge in court at a later date.
