Three people were injured and one person became trapped following a two-vehicle crash that caused a vehicle to roll over Thursday in the City of Auburn.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the area of Garrow Street near Clymer Street after reports of a two-car motor vehicle accident involving a rollover. Initial dispatches sent Auburn Engine 3, Truck 1, Car 1 and Auburn City Ambulance to the scene.
According to incident updates from Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire, firefighters arrived and confirmed the rollover accident, with Auburn command officers, fire apparatus and ambulance crews responding to assist.
Responders reported three injured patients at the scene, including one person trapped inside a vehicle. Command later requested a third ambulance to respond as crews worked to stabilize the situation and free the occupant.
Firefighters completed the extrication a short time later, according to updates from the scene.
No information about the severity of the injuries or the identities of those involved was immediately available. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
