Victor-Farmington Ambulance, Victor Fire Department conduct joint emergency training

Members of the Victor-Farmington Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Victor Fire Department recently participated in a joint training exercise designed to improve coordination during emergency responses.

The drill, led by Victor-Farmington’s Training Department on Monday, focused on ambulance operations, equipment familiarization and cardiac arrest response scenarios.

Officials said the training gave firefighters an opportunity to become more familiar with ambulance equipment and procedures while allowing both agencies to practice working together during high-stress medical emergencies.

Participants worked through simulated cardiac arrest situations that required coordination between fire and EMS personnel, helping crews refine communication and response strategies.
