A warrant investigation in the Town of Ovid resulted in the arrest of a local man wanted on a probation violation warrant, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Douglas S. Griffen, 64, of Ovid, was arrested at about 11:21 p.m. June 8 after deputies located him at his residence.
According to the sheriff’s office, Griffen was wanted on an outstanding probation violation warrant that had been issued on May 14.
Deputies took Griffen into custody and transported him to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center for processing on the warrant.
After processing, Griffen was turned over to corrections staff and held pending arraignment in Seneca County Centralized Arraignment Part Court.
