Watkins Glen farmers market to launch alongside summer concert series

A new weekly farmers market is coming to downtown Watkins Glen this summer, bringing local vendors, food trucks and community organizations together in Lafayette Park.

The Finger Lakes Gateway Community Development Corporation announced the Watkins Glen Farmers Market will debut June 30 and run every Tuesday through Aug. 25. The market will operate from 5 to 8 p.m., rain or shine, alongside the Village of Watkins Glen’s Summer Concert Series, which begins at 7 p.m. in the same location.

Organizers say the market will feature local produce vendors, artisans, nonprofit organizations and food trucks, creating a community gathering space tied to the weekly concerts. The goal is to support local growers, makers and small businesses while increasing activity in downtown Watkins Glen during the summer months.

The Finger Lakes Gateway Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit organization serving Schuyler County, said the market aligns with its mission of promoting economic vitality and strengthening the local economy through collaboration and community engagement.

Vendors are still being accepted for the 2026 season, according to organizers.
