A summer day on the golf course will help fund projects that make a difference across Geneva as the Geneva Rotary Club prepares for its annual fundraising tournament next month.
The Geneva Rotary Club’s Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, July 17, at Big Oak Golf Course, with proceeds supporting the Geneva Rotary Foundation’s Community Grant Program. The program provides funding to local nonprofits and initiatives focused on improving quality of life and addressing community needs.
Club officials said the tournament serves as one of the organization’s key fundraising efforts, helping Rotary continue investing in programs and projects throughout the community. The event will bring together golfers, local businesses and community supporters while raising money for future grants.
The tournament will include a hole-in-one contest and other activities designed to combine friendly competition with fundraising. Organizers say golfers of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.
Registration is $100 per person or $400 per team. Participants who register and pay by June 30 qualify for an early registration rate of $85 per person or $340 per team. Funds raised through the event will directly support the club’s ongoing grant-making efforts in the Geneva area.
