A proposal to expand an existing apartment complex in the Village of Bloomfield will go before the village’s Zoning Board later this month, with developers seeking multiple forms of zoning relief to move the project forward.
A public hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. June 25 at Bloomfield Town Hall, 99 Main St., where board members will consider a variance request involving Bloomfield Meadow Apartments at 21 Bennett Ave.
The property is owned by Rochester Management and is identified as Tax Map No. 68.17-1-26.100.
According to the public notice, the applicant is seeking approval for an expansion of a non-conforming structure or use, including a previously approved rear-yard setback.
The request also includes variances related to lot coverage and parking requirements.
Village officials have not released additional details about the scope of the proposed expansion or the amount of relief being sought.
Residents and other interested parties will have an opportunity to comment on the proposal during the public hearing before the Zoning Board considers any action.
