The Walworth Planning Board approved a four-lot subdivision on Swadling Road Monday night and postponed action on a proposed residential development after environmental review timelines prevented the project from moving forward.
The board unanimously approved an application submitted by Kyle Navratil for a subdivision at 5335 Swadling Road. Representatives for the project said the property would be divided into four lots to allow portions of the land to be conveyed to family members. The proposal had already received review from the Wayne County Planning Board, and no public comments were offered during the required hearing. Following the hearing, board members approved both the environmental review determination and final subdivision resolution.
The board also discussed an application from Double R Custom Homes involving a proposed subdivision and site plan for a vacant parcel on Mildahn Road. While the project appeared on the agenda for a public hearing, board members said no action could be taken because the town had recently established itself as lead agency for the State Environmental Quality Review process and must wait 30 days before considering approvals. The application is expected to return next month.
Board Chairman Chris Britton also briefly addressed the proposed Windward project, telling attendees that the board had not received any new information. “When we hear, you guys will hear it,” he said.
With no additional business before the board, the meeting adjourned after roughly three minutes of formal discussion.
