Waterloo woman jailed after warrant arrest leads to drug charges

A Waterloo woman wanted on a court warrant is facing additional drug charges after police said they found her in possession of narcotics and drug packaging materials.

Paige E. Lambert, 35, was arrested by the Waterloo Police Department on June 6 at approximately 8:43 p.m. on a warrant issued by Waterloo Town Court after she allegedly failed to appear on an original charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

Police said Lambert was also charged in connection with a separate investigation with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Investigators allege she was found in possession of fentanyl, crack cocaine and drug packaging paraphernalia.

Lambert was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where she was held pending centralized arraignment.
