A Seneca Falls woman was taken into custody Monday after police arrested her on two bench warrants tied to previous criminal and traffic cases.
Amanda Mahaffey, 39, of Seneca Falls, was arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department on warrants that were issued after she allegedly failed to appear in court.
According to police, the underlying charges include driving while ability impaired by drugs and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. The warrants also stem from felony and misdemeanor drug charges, including third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
Mahaffey was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where she was held pending centralized arraignment.
