A Seneca Falls woman is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after police said she repeatedly contacted a protected person despite a court-issued order.
Brittany Clink was arrested May 30 by the Waterloo Police Department and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree stalking and fourth-degree tampering with a witness.
Police said the charges stem from an investigation that found Clink contacted the protected party more than 162 times in violation of a Class A order of protection.
According to investigators, this is the second time Clink has been arrested for violating the order of protection and engaging in a course of conduct that constituted stalking.
Police also allege she contacted the victim on several occasions and made threats in an effort to have the victim drop earlier charges.
Clink was being held at the Seneca County Correctional Facility awaiting centralized arraignment.
