A motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon after losing control on a curve in the town of Naples.
Stacy Lynn Fleischman, 41, of Prattsburgh, was operating a 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on County Road 21 around 2:14 p.m. when the front tire contacted pavement sealer while traveling through a curve, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said the motorcycle left the roadway and entered a ditch on the north side of County Road 21 after Fleischman lost control. Deputies responded to the scene alongside members of the Naples Fire Department and Naples EMS.
Fleischman did not appear to suffer serious injuries at the scene, but was transported by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital for evaluation as a precaution, authorities said.
