A months-long investigation stemming from a traffic stop in Wayne County has resulted in a felony drug charge against a Town of Rose resident.
Robert C. Clingerman, 50, of North Rose, was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office following an investigation into a Jan. 27 traffic stop during which deputies alleged he was in possession of crack cocaine.
Deputies charged Clingerman with one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony. The arrest was made June 5 by deputies assigned to the investigation.
Authorities said Clingerman was processed at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he was held pending CAPS Court proceedings.
