Local artists and community members will have an opportunity to create their own artwork next month during a free painting class hosted by Friends of the Three Bears in Ovid.
The Three Bears Still-Life Painting Class will be held July 15 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Papa Bear building. Local artist Norma Luther will lead participants through the process of recreating a painting featuring daisies in a basket, with attendees taking home their finished artwork at the end of the session.
Organizers said the acrylic painting class is free and open to the public, though space is limited. Advance registration is required.
