A domestic violence investigation in the Town of Lyons resulted in multiple felony and misdemeanor charges against a local woman, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Shy L. McCarthy, 22, of Lyons, was arrested following an investigation into a domestic incident. Deputies charged McCarthy with first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree menacing.
Authorities said McCarthy was taken into custody and transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office following the investigation. Additional details about the incident were not released.
McCarthy was held for CAP Court and was scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court on June 2 at 7 a.m.
