A Geneva man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on a bench warrant after authorities said he failed to appear in court on pending criminal charges.
Arkel J. Williams, 39, of Geneva, was taken into custody by the Waterloo Police Department around 4:55 p.m. on June 3. The warrant was issued after Williams allegedly failed to appear in court on charges of second-degree menacing and second-degree aggravated harassment.
Police transported Williams to Waterloo Town Court for arraignment following his arrest.
He was released on his own recognizance after appearing before the court.
