A 911 hang-up call on Jefferson Avenue led to the arrest of a Canandaigua woman on multiple charges early May 21.
Shameika Brown, 34, of Canandaigua, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, resisting arrest and second-degree harassment after police responded to the area around 4:35 a.m.
According to police, officers arrived and observed Brown standing with a person who had a stay-away order of protection against her. During the investigation, officers determined the order had been violated.
Police said Brown kicked an officer while they were attempting to place her under arrest. She was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
