Police: Waterloo man faces felony charges for violating court order

A Waterloo man was arrested Tuesday after Seneca Falls police said he violated an active stay-away order of protection.

Jeremy Capron, 34, was charged June 2 with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt and two counts of aggravated family offense, all felony charges, according to police.

Authorities said the charges stem from an alleged violation of a valid order of protection. Additional details about the incident were not released.

Capron was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he was held pending arraignment.
