A Geneva man was arrested after police investigated a property damage complaint on Exchange Street and determined a residence had been intentionally damaged.
Javoni A. Parmelee, 20, of Geneva, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief after officers alleged he smashed a glass door at a residence, causing more than $300 in damage.
The incident happened May 30. Police said the charge stems from an investigation that found the damage was intentional.
Parmelee was processed and released with an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in local court at a later date. Officer Francesca Clements reported the arrest.
