The Yates County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted on a bigamy charge.
Authorities identified the individual as Christopher D. Tirao, born May 6, 1961. According to information released by the sheriff’s office, Tirao is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds, with black and gray hair and brown eyes.
The sheriff’s office said Tirao is wanted on a charge of bigamy. Additional details about the underlying case were not immediately released.
Anyone with information about Tirao’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Yates County Sheriff’s Office at 315-536-4438 or submit an anonymous tip by texting “YATES” to 847411.
