Bargain hunters and garage sale enthusiasts will have dozens of stops to explore next month as Weedsport prepares for a community-wide sale event stretching across the village.
The Weedsport Village-Wide Garage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, beginning at 9 a.m., with residents expected to host sales throughout the day.
Organizers are encouraging participants to share addresses, items for sale, and photos ahead of the event to help shoppers plan their routes and find featured items.
Village-wide garage sales have become popular community events across the Finger Lakes and Central New York, often drawing visitors from neighboring towns in search of antiques, collectibles, household items, toys, furniture, clothing, and other secondhand finds.
The event comes just one week after Weedsport’s annual Fireman’s Field Days celebration, giving the village back-to-back weekends of community activity heading into summer.
