A Rochester man was arrested in Wayne County after deputies said he violated an order of protection during a traffic stop investigation in the town of Ontario.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said Antonio K. Poole, 36, of Rochester, was arrested May 25 following a traffic stop on Furnace Road in Ontario.
Deputies allege Poole was found to be in violation of a stay-away order of protection during the investigation. He was charged with second-degree criminal contempt.
Authorities said Poole was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing before being taken to jail to await CAPS arraignment.
He is scheduled to answer the charge at a later date in Ontario Town Court.
