A community fundraiser supporting Family Hope Center will bring Doug’s Fish Fry back to Waterloo next week alongside a free diaper giveaway for local families.
The event is scheduled for Friday, June 5, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Five Star Bank on Routes 5 and 20 in Waterloo. Organizers said proceeds from the fish fry will benefit Family Hope Center and its community programs.
Pre-orders for meals will be accepted through 4 p.m. by calling Doug’s Fish Fry at (607) 753-9184 ext. 2.
A free diaper giveaway is also planned from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. during the event.
Family Hope Center Director Jennifer Grace encouraged residents to support the fundraiser and community outreach effort.
“Come hungry, leave happy, and make a real difference in our community,” Grace said. “See you there — let’s make this the best fish fry Friday.”
Family Hope Center serves families and individuals in the Geneva area through a variety of support programs and community services.
