An Ontario County Sheriff’s Office investigation into an alleged order of protection violation led to the arrest of an East Bloomfield man Friday afternoon.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies arrested Guy Leroy Colson, 25, of East Bloomfield, on a charge of second-degree criminal contempt following an incident at a residence on State Route 444.
Investigators said the arrest stemmed from an investigation in which Colson allegedly harassed and alarmed a protected party in violation of a duly served order of protection.
Authorities said the incident occurred May 22 at approximately 2:25 p.m. Deputies transported Colson to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held pending arraignment.
The investigation was handled by Deputy McCauley with assistance from Deputy Smith.
