An East Bloomfield man was arrested early Friday morning after Ontario County deputies investigated a reported domestic incident involving a child, according to the sheriff’s office.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested 40-year-old Todd M. Schorer around 12:53 a.m. at a residence on County Road 30 in Bloomfield.
Investigators said Schorer was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child following a domestic incident at the home. Deputies alleged the obstruction of breathing incident occurred while children were present.
Schorer was transported to the Ontario County Jail for CAP Court proceedings and is scheduled to appear in East Bloomfield Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
New York State Police assisted in the investigation.
