A Sodus woman was arrested after deputies say a 2-year-old child wandered out of a trailer park and was found walking alone along Shaker Road while traffic passed nearby.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a toddler walking unattended in the roadway on Shaker Road in the Town of Sodus.
Following an investigation, deputies arrested 25-year-old Holly M. Craner of the Alton Mobile Home Park on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child. Authorities allege the child exited the home without supervision, left the trailer park, and made it into the roadway alone. Witnesses told deputies the child was walking in active traffic when discovered.
Craner was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing before being taken to the Wayne County Jail to await CAP Court proceedings.
