On Saturday at Millcreek Golf Club in Rochester, Mynderse Academy’s Harrison Wirth delivered one of the top performances in Section V to capture the Class B individual championship in a rain-shortened, 27-hole event and continue a standout postseason run for the Blue Devils.

Wirth finished with a two-day total of 117, shooting a 79 in the opening round followed by a 38 in the second round to secure the sectional title against a competitive field from across the region. His performance stood out as one of the top overall marks in Section V competition this spring, further cementing his place among the area’s leading golfers.

The sectional crown also earned Wirth a spot in Monday’s state qualifier, which will again be held at Millcreek Golf Club. Wirth will look to continue his strong postseason form and earn the opportunity to compete on the state stage later this spring.
